Description
The cricket enjoyed the early morning on this beautiful pink rose with bud in the garden in Palm Desert. Crickets tend to be confused with the grasshopper, since their legs are similar. Unlike so many myths, crickets do not rub their legs to get their chirping sound, they rub the bottom of their wings, where there are teeth running along the underside of each wing. running the wing against these teeth makes the chirping sound, Mainly males chirp, although, some females do also.
