My latest family members, born March 12, 2017 with their Momma. waiting for daddy to bring them some food, so they can get out of the nest and fly away. The chicks, normally, will stay in the nest for another 10 days at least then the parents, will break up the nest, and come back again in another couple of months, they can nest and birth up to 3-4 times per year and have 2 or 3 eggs with each birth. They love the back of my Gazebo Television, warm,protected from the elements, and handy fo flying in and out.
Jay Milo born in New Jersey on January 2, moved to Canarsie, Brooklyn, as a small child, moved to San Francisco in 1948 and lives in Palm Desert since 1998. He is a widower. I love this area because it gives me wonderful access to natures beautiful creatures and flowers. In my early travel years I took many pictures with a Canon Camera. We have a wonderful group of Hummingbirds and Doves, that come and feed everyday during their season here in California and I make a couple of batches of food a day in 3 feeders for them.
