This beautiful male costa's hummngbird with bright wide eye is checking the photographer to see what he is up to, He posed just long enough from sipping his nectar for me to catch him in somewhat of a surprised look.

Jay Milo born in New Jersey on January 2, moved to Canarsie, Brooklyn, as a small child, moved to San Francisco in 1948 and lives in Palm Desert since 1998. He is a widower. I love this area because it gives me wonderful access to natures beautiful creatures and flowers. In my early travel years I took many pictures with a Canon Camera.
