Artist's Description

Sedona , is an Arizona desert town near Flagstaff that’s surrounded by red-rock buttes, steep canyon walls and pine forests. It’s noted for its mild climate and vibrant arts community. Uptown Sedona is dense with New Age shops, spas and art galleries. On the town’s outskirts, numerous trailheads access Red Rock State Park, which offers bird-watching, hiking and picnicking spots.
Sedona's main attraction is its array of red sandstone formations. The formations appear to glow in brilliant orange and red when illuminated by the rising or setting sun. The red rocks form a popular backdrop for many activities, ranging from spiritual pursuits to the hundreds of hiking and mountain biking trails.Sedona was named after Sedona Arabella Miller Schnebly (1877–1950).

About Jay Milo

Jay Milo

Jay Milo born in New Jersey on January 2, moved to Canarsie, Brooklyn, as a small child, moved to San Francisco in 1948 and lives in Palm Desert since 1998. He is a widower. I received my Nikon Camera for one of my birthdays and have been taking much better pictures since then. We have a wonderful group of Hummingbirds and Doves, that come and feed everyday during their season here in California and I make a couple of batches of food a day in 3 feeders for them. They have become accustomed to me wondering around with my camera, and sometimes pose for me , which you will...
