Johnnie Lucille Collier, April 12, 1923 to January 22, 2004,she was named Johnnie, because her father wanted a boy, known as Ann Miller, was an American dancer, singer and actress. She was an uncredited child extra in her first movie in 1934’s release of Anne of Green Gables. She went on to be a hit in the 1940’s and 50’s in Classical Hollywood musical films for her speed in Tap dancing. She was known, especially later in her career, for her distinctive appearance , which reflected a studio-era ideal of glamour, massive black bouffant hair, heavy makeup with a splash of crimson lipstick, and fashions that emphasized her lithe figure and long dancer's legs.
